About our Work Experience Program
Wyn Active is proudly relaunching our Work Experience program and offering a limited number of secondary school students work experience opportunity. This is to provide students in year 10, within the local Wyndham Community the opportunity to observe and learn about the range of career pathways in recreation and aquatics.
Job Description
Students accepted into the program are given the opportunity to spend a maximum of one week (five consecutive working days) within available departments to observe the daily activities that occur.
Who can apply for the work experience placements?
Year 10, students at Secondary School who are enrolled in the work experience program at school and have and interest in the Health and Fitness and Aquatics field.
What areas of the centre can students apply for work experience?
Wyn Active offers work experience across the areas listed below. Upon application, students have the opportunity to request the areas of special interest. Wyn Active requires successful work experience students to be supervised, therefore work experience are subject to availability.

Cafe
Stadium
Desired Skills and Experience
How many work experience students are accepted?
Places will be due to availability; therefore, Wyn Active cannot guarantee placement for every applicant and we are unable to take students on over the school holiday periods. All applications are reviewed, and available placements will be given to those who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in recreation and aquatics.

All students who have applied will be contacted by the People and Performance department via email in due course following the advertising period.
Please note: To commence work experience, students must upload a current resume and completed Work Experience Application Form before commencement. Wyn Active are unable to accept incomplete applications.
Wyn Active also reserves the right to cancel a work experience placement at any time.
